1. iNITIAL CONTACT

Contact me by phone or email to set up a time for the initial consultation.

2. INITIAL CONSULTATION

After our initial contact, we will talk through the occasion you are marking and the kind of ceremony you are looking for, so we can decide whether we are the right fit for each other. This usually takes 20-30 minutes and there is no charge for this consultation.

3. Signing an agreement and payment of a 50% deposit

A decision to work with me or not needs to be made within eight days following our initial consultation, a contract is then signed and deposit paid within five working days following notification of this commitment. The balance is to be paid 7 working days prior to the ceremony. This is not the case for funerals, as fees are covered in the Funeral Director’s fees.

4. full Consultation

We will sit down for a good chat over a coffee or wine, either at your place, at my office, via Zoom, or wherever is most convenient. I will ask you lots of questions to get a thorough understanding of you and your loved ones, how you tick, and the stories and adventures that have led you here. We will work together so I can craft a neat ceremony that truly reflects you, and covers all the legal requirements. This will take into account the overall look (or theme), the venue, the music, any readings or speakers, and all the other little details. Don’t worry if this sounds overwhelming, I will gently guide you through it!

There are usually several communications over the following weeks to check details and make changes as new ideas occur to you.

5. On the day

I will arrive early to make sure everything is set up correctly at the venue and we are all ready to mark the occasion with you.
